About MARHC

The Missouri Association of Rural Health Clinics (MARHC) is a not-for-profit corporation founded in 2000 by health professionals committed to providing a forum to exchange information specific to federally-certified Rural Health Clinics.

 

The purpose of MARHC is:

 

  • To study, discuss, and exchange professional knowledge, expertise, and ideas with regard to federally certified rural health clinics.

  • To promote high standards for quality patient care.

  • To stimulate interest in continuing education for rural health clinic health care providers.

  • To improve access to quality health care through the establishment of federally certified rural health clinics and through cooperative efforts with other professional health care organizations and individuals.

  • To promote and maintain communication and cooperative relations with other professional health care organizations.

We are excited to announce a significant milestone for our organization. As of May 2024, the Missouri Association of Rural Health Clinics (MARHC) has officially partnered with the Missouri Rural Health Association (MRHA) for association management. Both organizations are still separate and distinct associations but will share an executive director which will foster a great partnership. With the Missouri Association of Rural Health Clinics focusing on rural health clinics, quality, and accessibility of healthcare in rural communities and Missouri Rural Health Association goal to improve rural health outcomes, we can accomplish our goals together.


This strategic partnership is a testament to our commitment to advancing the quality and accessibility of healthcare in rural communities throughout Missouri. Through this collaboration, we aim to combine our strengths, resources, and expertise to better support you, our valued RHC members. Here are some of the key benefits you can anticipate from this partnership:
