Statewide Managed Care Update

Bids for the statewide Medicaid managed care contracts were due last Monday, August 1. The following companies submitted responses:

• Aetna Medicaid Administrators LLC

• Home State Health

• Missouri Care

• United Healthcare

• Aetna Better Health of MO LLC

According to Mo HealthNet's most recent timeline, the contracts will be awarded October 1. The RFP says no more than three contracts will be awarded. Open enrollment for participants is scheduled to start January 20, 2017, with auto-enrollment beginning April 14. Services under the new contracts will run May 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018.
