Free Rural Health Coding and Billing Training

The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services/ Office of Primary Care and Rural Health is holding a two-day Rural Health Coding & Billing Specialist Training on August 29 and 30. The sessions will be held at the Capital Mall in Jefferson City (3600 Country Club Drive, Community Room) from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm each day.

With CMS' new requirement that rural health clinics provide HCPCS code-level detail, it has never been more important to make sure you are documenting and coding for 100% of the services completed. Billing is not supposed to change, but if your clinic is not documenting and coding correctly, revenue may be left on the table.

The training session is free but enrollment is limited, and options for some travel reimbursement are available.

You can find more information and enroll in the training here.
