CMS Releases Expanded Qualifying Visit List

CMS recently released its updated and expanded qualifying visit list. It contains a significant number of new codes that will qualify RHC visits on their own. You can view the updated list here. Remember, you must wait until October 1 to bill for visits qualified solely by one of the codes listed in red.

Additionally, CMS released a list of FAQ on Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) that should clarify certain nuances in the reporting policy. While the whole FAQ is useful, questions 9 and 10 are especially helpful.
