Events

MARHC held its first conference in the fall of 2000, opening the doors for RHCs to serve as one voice throughout Missouri. Since then, one of MARHCs primary goals has been to serve as a continual educational resource for both our members and non-members. To accomplish this, MARHC now holds two annual conferences. The Spring Billing Conference offers clinics an opportunity to educate themselves on issues relating solely to billing. The Fall Annual Conference provides more of a general overview on RHCs, with presentations relating to all areas of the practice. In addition to serving as an educational tool, the conferences allow RHCs from across the state to network with one another and share best practices. Regardless of membership in MARHC, all RHCs are encouraged to participate in the conferences and work to expand the RHC community in Missouri.

In addition to conferences, MARHC hosts several lobby days throughout the legislative session. During these lobby days individuals representing Rural Health Clinics from across the state travel to Jefferson City to meet with elected officials on issues relating to rural health.
