On behalf of the MO Association of Rural Health Clinics Board of Directors I want to express our sincerest condolences to the Tom Warner family. We were so saddened and shocked to hear of Tom’s passing. He will be missed by so many - as a loving family man and friend as well as a business leader in his community and our state.
We have enjoyed knowing and working with Tom through the years as a MARHC board members and supporter of Rural Health Clinics. I always appreciated Tom’s leadership expertise and his knack for making complex decisions and tasks simple. If asked, he always had a plan - a good plan with just solid, basic direction and insight that led us to smart decisions.
We won’t forget Tom or his influence. He will be someone who we often fondly recall. Here is a Ralph Waldo Emerson poem that makes me think of Tom:
Success
To laugh often and much.
To win the respect of intelligent people, and the affection of children.
To appreciate beauty.
To find the best in others.
To leave the world a little better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, a redeemed social condition, or a job well done.
To know even one other life has breathed easier because you have lived.
This is to have known success
We will continue to celebrate Tom’s success in this life and continue to honor him with our high regard.
